Not since Ronald Reagan destroyed Pat Brown in 1966. And, as they say, the rest is history. (Pat Brown became more or less a joke for the rest of his life, appearing seemingly every four years will a new book claiming Reagan wrecked CA.)

Davis still looks like toast. Many prominent Dems have already endorsed Riordan.
