Can you imagine the CYA going on now and the last few weeks at AA...believe or it not (seems eons ago), I started my very so-called business career in international audit...destroying work papers from a current audit? Talk about the most ugly, unethical, dark thing for an auditor to do...goes against every instinct.. One of my managers at that time formerly had worked for one of the big 8 (or was it 12 still) audit firms...was a partner...previously, he had lost most of the equity in his house when firm went belly-up due to similiar case... shenanigans...I forget the firm/case..
