JNPR rallies on this nonsense
Ah yes, the power of Pain

This is the ONLY reason JNPR is rallying
This market has NOTHING to do with value and everything to do with options bet on or against. Do you think INTC would have sold off if there were a zillion puts and no calls.
What about KLAC? If there were a huge number of PUTs on KLAC, nothing would have happened. We have seen this time and time again on MU. EVERONE in their right mind knows MU is worth about $5 AND their earnings will suck every time. But when everyone "smart" bets on that, MU rallied every time anyway. In a strong DOWNtrend, MU sank under its own weight, otherwise in this bullsh*t market MU can rise.
It will rise because those damn warrants MU sold, and the crooks will see to it that forced execution of those warrants will happen.

There were more calls than puts on EBAY. EBAY sank. If there were a ton of PUTs on EBAY, on that "great" earnings report, EBAY would have risen. The entire trick in this game is to figure out whether or not we are trending. Placing bets on Max pain during a trend will get you CRUSHED totally. All this crap about how good a company is or earnings or recovery or anything is TOTAL BULLSH*T. About 5%-10% of the companies out there are truly a buy on FA basis and unfortunately I do not know which ones those are. EBAY at a PE of 200 or whatever is TOTALLY INSANE and even more so in a bear market. I have ZERO doubt that had there been a huge number of puts at strike 65 and no calls that it would have risen.

In short, the game is totally crooked.
Once one understands that the game is rigged, then one must trade to take advantage of the rig. Options and sentiment are the KEYs. NOTHING else matters except on the 10% of the stocks that are of reasonable value.

If you think EMLX is a buy here on a FA basis then I think you are nuts (please no offense). EMLX is probably worth about $10. MU might be worth $5, and I would bet some bears would think $1.

It does not matter what I think, however. The only thing that matters is Sentiment and the number of puts and calls on a stock. Everything else is noise.
