Ted,

So, Tony, what do you think? Were Intel's numbers good enough to cause a Nasdaq rally?

Doesn't look that way. Like I said, and Petz I think agreed, the fools don't understand that Intel's huge capex last year could not, should not, be repeated this year. They seem to be thinking that for growth for Intel to continue, or really kick in, capex has to go up every year. Hopefully, the brighter ones see this and make some comments tonight or tomorrow. I personally think the quarter was fine, and 2002 results for Intel depend overwhelmingly on the economy (vs. depending on the competition).

Ted, Re: "Were Intel's numbers good enough to cause a Nasdaq rally?"

The Nasdaq has already rallied quite a bit over the last month. These numbers now somewhat justify the overly high levels. I would expect INTC stock price to now fluctuate by a few points, but probably remain over $30.

Ted,

Were Intel's numbers good enough to cause a Nasdaq rally?

I think there were good enough to cause the rally that just happened:
