try looking at 1/4/1 - about 2pm when the first rate cut was announced - I remember that one and I think that's the one you are refering to.

OK I looked it up on QCharts. On the ten minute bar @ 1:10 pm on Jan 3/01 the nq opened @ 2171, closed @ 2478 and hit a high of 2590.

Scary I barely remember that now. A forty point stop out wouldn't look so bad on day like that;)
