NOT QUITE. The law previous to that ruling was fine with me. The basis of it was that illegal immigrants should be considered flight risks since their original intention was to get into the US, then disappear and avoid contact with the law. Letting them out on bail provides exactly that opportunity.

That federal district court seems to have forgotten that there is a war on. Hopefully the USSC will remind them of that.
