I'm not at all surprised by the verdict. People die in all sorts of weird accidents. A few years ago in my part of the world the wind blew an SUV off a road into the sea. The driver escaped, but his child drowned in the back seat. On some other terrorism topics: 1) The authorities seem to be completely stumped by the anthrax mailings. 2) The U.S. is talking about cutting back on the domestic combat air patrols. 3) Tighter restrictions on checking airline baggage are due to go into effect soon (this week, I think). 4) And my personal favorite: The Taliban prisoners that the U.S. sent to Guantanamo got their hair and beards shaved as a lice prevention measure. LOL!
