when we didn't need to do it, and we knew we didn't need to do it, and they knew that we knew we didn't need to do it, we used them as an experiment for two atomic bombs

I see your point but perhaps because it was done when it was done it was not done later on us by them... You realize they would have done it to us don't you?

Have you ever read these accounts Mr. Peacenik? I suppose you thought the entire Japanese war machine was studying Buddha and writing fortune cookie messages during that time.

The U.S. Population in 1945 was about 140,000,000.

You have cited perhaps 50 (?) opinions against the nuclear bombing.

That leaves about 139,999,950 opinions to go. Are you intending to post them all?

Otherwise, what is your point? That there were people who opposed the bombing? Do you think this is some kind of revelation (divine or otherwise)?

I am going to guess that the final tabulation will be:

71,569,433 FOR
68,430,567 AGAINST

Are you offering a prize for who comes closest?

Wake me when you finish counting.
