Hi Russ:

Spoke to Ceo last week. There are now 3 or 4 core rigs and 1 RC on property, currently still drilling, although have had some water lines freeze up. Should be a full 19 or 20 holes to report but no clear indication of timing as yet, probably all one batch. It appears that Rio Tinto want to describe the geology and be involved in the drafting of next release, obviously that means on their time. Cukerdere is priority over Kargoz holes and they will be changing the name of Cukerdere back to what they originally called it now that they have wrapped up all possible adjacent land they didn't want risk losing to opportunists. Apparently a confusion tactic with the prospect's name.

Generally tone was quite positive about current drill programs and more exciting prospecting taking place as well.
Politically they are very comfortable working in Turkey and note its committment to U.S. efforts in Afghanistan. I think they are right that many, particularly in the U.S., do not appreciate the strength of Turkey's secularism. That may prove to be a hinderence especially if the U.S. should invade Iraq. I am personally comfortable with my investment in YMC.U and hope to meet with the Co. at this year's PDAC. Til then the story will be in the core.

I'm concerned

It appears that last year 2001, from Feb. to Oct., they released drill results nine times. But since the announcement in October that more drills would turn, nothing. Well nothing if you count a Feb. 2002 stock dilution announcement at .35 cents as nothing.

My belief is that if they had any significant news, it would have or should have come before the private placement.

What am I missing? Am I the only one worried?
