oT - how th did you do succeed to format the data? I sure hope you did not have to count blanks?! TIA for the answer.

As you know, you can use italics by surrounding text by i and /i in angle brackets. If you substitute PRE for i, you can preformat(?) sections of text. Unfortunately, the final published result is not fully compatible with the submit result of the editing window. I think the problem comes down to tabs. If you make sure that you only use spaces and no tabs, both the submit result and the published result retain formatting. You just have to use spaces, not count them.
