MSFT might be reacting to the news that Intel had record CPU shipments in Q4.

Of course the big difference between MSFT and INTC is that Microsoft does not cut prices on Windows.<g>

Microsoft also seen as defensive in a bad economy; being best Dow stock in 2001 certainly supports this view.

Maybe, but in the meanwhile, I added AMAT just under $42 and NVDA at $62.70.
