what is the right price for LLTC and MXIM? Do you know what P/S they had in previous downturns?

No, but the high margins require them to have high P/S anyway. I do remember P/E's of 16 or so, which would indicate a share price of 10 or so, but you really need a market slump to get there. The upside on a full economic recovery for LLTC would certainly be at least 50, probably with an overshoot to 60. On that basis, 30 would probably be a reasonable price, down maybe 30% from here.
