ST- Options I bought some JAN 02 Puts @45 for $1 apiece last week, looking primarily at Max-Pain as a directional (not numerical) predictor, and considering the overbought condition. Both matched my hunch, so I listened. I just sold half of them this morning for $3 apiece. ROI so far is 42% above total cost, with the remaining half on a zero basis (pure profit). (That's 184% profit on the ones I sold if I distribute the costs equally - IRS style - among them all. However, I prefer to think of all the initial stake off the table and a worst-case profit figure.) - Mitch
