This is not the first time the industry has gone through a wafer size conversion...And yet the industry has continued to grow and flourish.

But this is the first time that a wafer size conversion has coincided with a synchronous global recession. The critical issue is valuation and where you would pull the trigger. Will you buy AMAT on a moderate Feb dip that refuses to breach 30, or will you hold your fire awaiting a double bottom?
