There's not a big deal in the difference of our configs. Also, I don't think there's anything Dell offers which is equivalent to iDVD. If you want a copy of my quote, pm me.

The bottom line is that you have to look beyond the pure physical parts to judge which machine most appeals to a person or is a better value. For me, for about the same price, I'd go for the new iMac any day of the year. If one loves Microsoft-anything, then any comparably priced Wintel machine is the better deal for them.

Interesting how you sneaked a longer warranty in the Dell quote and Microsoft Works in the IBM quote....
