I will never support us becoming the terrorists as was the case at the end of the war with Japan...

It is interesting that the first American troops to march through the streets of Japan were greeted with wildly enthusiastic crowds waving both U.S. and Japanese flags. They gave every appearance of viewing the Yanks as liberators.

Skeptics could say that this was orchestrated, but I don't think the government was organized enough to pull that off, nor can I think of what their motive would be.

It just might be that the Japanese citizenry were indeed happy to have the American "terrorists" arrive.
