I hear ya. Tape action after beige book tells me to hold this long until it's clearly dead. Support levels tells me to hold. Lack of clear Elliott structure tells me to be skeptical. For now I hold, but very skeptically.

Here's a count that works, assuming this, surprisingly as it would be to most, takes off from here.

Off yesterday's high we were looking for another wavelet down. Well, count it to today's low and it's a 5 wave move.

Off the low today we had a leading diagonal. Rare, but happens now and than at critical support under lots of selling pressure. A leading diagonal, as you know, is a wee rising wedge of 1-5 whose moves are in 3's.

The little drop after the beige book, that never made a new low, was the 'ii' out of this leading diagonal and now we are launching in a matching 'iii'.

Just amusing myself as we slosh about.
