Neo, when there is a bad decision, you have stated well the reason, The decision should be reversed. It does not matter that the stupid may use the opportunity to be stupid. When stupid is found those who are not stupid should fix it. The stupid will always find a reason to be stupid. One should never make a decision based upon any consideration that the stupid will respond as the stupid do.

That is why I hope the stupid insensitive ones will see the light. I hope and I speak to what I hope will happen.

Do you think that if they honored the 3 individuals, the rest of FDNY would have been happy? Perhaps, but I think not. They probably should have picked a different model. I wonder about the Korean War Memorial for example....it was based on a picture and includes blacks and whites. Btw, the same foundry produced them both..Tallix, and it is located near me.
