Apple should drop all references to MHz from all documentation. I mean, really, who cares? In the end there are only three speeds: too slow, fast enough, and "whoah!". More information than that is pointlessly confusing.

Nobody cares how fast the processor in their DVD player runs.

"You experts cannot even agree that a compareable machine exists."

Doren, I'm the first one to agree a comparably priced Wintel machine exists and probably for a few dollars less too.

However, I'm sure you would agree there's more involved that the mere physical components when comparing Apples to Wintels. The whole integration of H/W and S/W applications is by far the primary aspect anyone should be looking at. If a person is satisfied with what they can do on an Apple or Wintel, so be it. However, from my perspective both machines are not created equal.
