RE:"Otellini would be the first non-PHD, in one of the sciences or another, Intel CEO."

I thought Semicong said the Engineers were back in charge at Intel? Now they are elevating a PR guy to the top spot?
Well, I can say one thing. Otellini can sling it with the best.

Tony, Re: "Otellini would be the first non-PHD, in one of the sciences or another, Intel CEO."

Otellini is a business man at heart - and a good one. Just like Barrett was the manufacturing wizard, and Grove was the growth wizard. At those points in Intel's life, the company needed growth, followed by manufacturing. Now, Intel has been built up to a solid company, and a business man may give Intel what it needs to solidify their leadership. Any thoughts from you?

Tony,

Otellini would be the first non-PHD, in one of the sciences or another, Intel CEO.

Yeah, but his BS is very strong.
