Hold, on here people! The new iMac has been selling for just over one week barely enough time to say anything like what Anderson said with any real confidence. While I do agree the iMac is a good machine so far and certainly more avante-garde then its predecessor, I just can't see how Anderson can make predictions of increased sales, and surpassing the old iMac at that, and setting a target of 1.5B for this qtr, solely on the heals of the new iMac. A good portion of the current demand for the new iMac was from buyers holding back on buying the older iMac. If Apple makes the 1.5B sales target it will have to be with the aid of a revamped Powermac. Without that, the new iMac will have to make miracles.
