Analog Devices Sees FY02 Capex Of $70M Vs $297M In FY01

WASHINGTON -- Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) said its capital expenditures will be $70 million for its fiscal year ending Oct. 31, according to the company's quarterly report filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

For its fiscal year ended Nov. 3, 2001, the company spent $297 million for capital expenditures.

Significant capital additions for that year included new facilities in Wilmington, Mass., Sunnyvale, Calif., and Limerick, Ireland.

The company didn't specify in the filing what capital additions it expects for the current fiscal year.

Analog Devices, based in Norwood, Mass., makes precision high-performance linear, mixed signal and digital integrated circuits.
