At this time I only have 7 stocks.
Geacf=34% of holdings
Ally =25%
Bprx=19%
Dell=14%
Tsco=7%
Brli=5%
Plcm=4%
The only stock with a loss is Plcm (-9%) and this happens because I sold all other losers
Avg gain is 34% on existing holdings, but is meaningless because I trade all these except Geacf , and may buy several new stocks in a day. At times have sold all the Tsco, Brli, and Plcm
The main thing that counts is whether one has more money than last week, last month

Cannot tell what I will be holding next week, probably be the first 6 -may have to dump the Plcm
Other stocks looking good to me are S, Wmt,Scot,Igt which, along with Ally and Tsco, are near their 52 week highs and could be good LTBH stocks.
Like a broker, I would recommend them but I dont buy them unless they can do better than what I hold now.
That is, I do not purposely seek diversification which might make others more comfortable.
IMO one has to have one or two very good performers to stay invested in this vacillating market, else its better to just trade. I'm not that good a trader that I "lay it all on the line" , I only buy a few hundred shs or up to 6 calls
on a strange stock just to liven up the action or practice trading.
I hate trading- its messing up my vision of owning a really good stock. I feel I'm being herded into somebody elses pasture where they have all the advantages.
But its paying for my new garage, etc, and I seem to get just a minor bit better at it each week or each month
And if trading is only game left in the market then count me in.
JMHO
Regards
Sig
