A few thoughts, I do not subsrcribe to robbing the rich and unduly rewarding the poor. Your second point on crack dealers was inapropriate and in the context written implied the poor are all hoping to be crack dealers funded through govt hand outs.

In every society that is going to progress the strong must aid the weak, thus they must carry the bulk of the burden needed to maintain and strengthen the infrastructre of the nation which is the foundation of it's economy. Additionally, if this helping of the weak does not occur over time any society will evolve into two classes, very rich and very poor. The strenght of America is it's large middle class. This is primarily due to a system that has minimum wages in place, workers rights (somewhat caused by as you would say bt the dreadful unions), and a tax system that is progressive in terms of the burden up to a limit. The system works pretty well and today the burden by the rich is as low as it ever was since the federal tax was instituted.

Without this large middle class which you intend to destroy America will indeed crumble like ever other empire because too much money was in too few hands. The current tax cut is a step in that direction, so I am opposed to how it is structured.

Taxes that are reasonable are good and programs that help folks stacked at the bottom achieve a greater place in life are good. If these assistance programs are destroyed the American dream will be destroyed with it, and we will certainly evolve into a class system and our great empire will subsequently collapse as happens to all nations operating on a class system.

So paying a few bucks to keep America strong and prosperous is good. Everyone that pays taxes ought to thank God the are on that end vs the other.
