Our cat meeting was disappointing, but no more so than I expected. They passed out literature on protecting your pets from coyotes, which while useful was not a particular worry. The city declined to try to census coyotes or any other wildlife to find out if that could be a problem. An incidental mention was that crime, in particularly burglery and robbery have been growing quickly this year and that puts cat deaths even further on the back burner.
