Nice post! Everyday all I hear about is the violence and war and hate going on around the world. It is quite depressing when you look at the big picture (one tiny fragile planet determined to blow itself up) but I nevertheless hope every day that the leaders of world especially in the US the ONLY SUPERPOWER realize we have to work together and share the planet to prosper, there is no alternative.

The more data we develop about early humans the more selfish they appear. I suspect that humans have been steadily becoming more humane and learning more enlightened self-interest. Obviously, we have a long way to go. Just look at the dirty fight that liberals are putting up in an attempt to preserve their political power.
