Thanks for your summary of the conference call. I also listened and agree with everything you wrote.
I can add a little more detail to ".. some education sales will probably be pushed out a quarter or two..."
I think Fred said that some big education sales had already been pushed out from last quarter into this, implying that Apple would have met or beaten revenue and beaten earnings if those sales had stayed on schedule. There was some analyst probing whether these were true deferrals or possibly lost sales due to education budgets contracting, but he stood firm with his $1.5b guidance for this quarter with the only risk being technical or logistical problems associated with the new iMac launch. I guess this quarter is not a big education quarter anyway.
