How can it be, that I was born in 1961, and recognize all but two of those songs. Recognize to the point that I could sing along...<of course I would only do that in my own home with nobody around!!! <ggg>>

When you started posting these lists of #1 hits, did you intentionally start posting with the year 1965, on the thread's post number 1965?? Therefore since no one interrupted you, on every one of the yearly posts, the year corresponds exactly with the post number.
