With .13 they will be able to sell for less since it will cost them less so they should be able to move more inventory.

... assuming the process is healthy and the cost per wafer doesn't go up that much...

Well consider the problem that poses. AMD said they were at 80% capacity at the end of Q3 and would reach 100% capacity by the end of Q4. They also claim to have "world class yields" which would be about 130 DPW. AMD shipped ~4 million Athlons while lowering inventory. They would only need about 45% capacity to do the trick. So your theory has AMD holding back on wafer starts at the same time AMD says they are reaching 100% capacity. Do you see a problem here?
