I'll tell you what they are thinking now. The new AMDroid metric is Dollar Market Share, courtesy of Jerry's rant at the Q4 conference. They will claim that AMD's goal was to exceed Intel in microprocessor Dollar Market Share from the beginning. Forget Unit Market Share - that's yesterday's news. Now, AMD is making great strides in defeating Intel's big, bad Monopoly, having increased Dollar Market Share from 8.4% to 12.1%, and 30% is right around the corner.
