A business failure, period ? Heh heh, that's a good one. You almost sound like you believe it. Who do you think you're kidding ? They don't call it the Enron Scandal for nothing. Nice spin, but it don't wash. Try corrupt, criminal enterprise layered with lies and fraud, led by shrub's favorite 100 K Pioneer Contributor, Kenny Boy Lay himself. These guys and their political cronies seem to have the ethics of a sewer rat, and they don't care who they screw in the process. As long as you're comforted by your denials, so be it. I won't bother repeating the hundreds of stories all over the newspapers and internet showing how much shrub and Kenny Boy propped each other up over the last decade. You can read those yourself, if you ever find enough time to get through them all. When the sh*t hit the fan, it was : "of course, Mr. Lay was a BIG supporter of Ann Richards". Oh, brother. At least shrub's not so dumb politically to commit career suicide through a direct, highly visible quid pro quo. Who would ? The Enron Albatross. The opening salvo of the year of reckoning. Just wait until the derivative explosions and Glass Stegal revocation implications start popping up. Even Greenie's starting to sound flappable. But none of this yakking will make any difference. I'm just gonna sit back, grab some popcorn, and watch the spectacle. They'll do it to themselves, as usual, but unfortunately there'll be a lot of collateral damage. Cheers.
