Well, you almost came to giving me credit for making sense. As far as the system working it is predicated on taxes and without taxes the system crumbles, sorry that is the way it is.

On the subject of crack which seems to something you are addicted to posting about, if drugs were legalized that problem would go away. We spend 20 billion of your tax money trying to control drugs and even more mopping up the mess they cause. Legalized they could become a revenue source and lower you taxes.

On socialism, I am not sure what your point was, but you certainly painted a picture that has only one color, the one you want. Many European countries and Asian countries border on socialism and work reasonably well. So everything you wrote there was your biased unsubstanited BS.

Anyway, I never belly ached about the system. I have never complained about paying taxes. I would however change the way we spend the budget by cutting defense and increasing some social programs like health care. And I would have focused on debt reduction and fiscal discipline rather welfare for the rich via tax cuts.
