I would revise his remarks to: "Cental bankers' success in containing the PERCEPTIONS of inflation .... over the last two decades..." No small part of which has been the keeping the barbarous relic firmly placed under their thumbs. This sort of hubris by that senile old fart likely will be a high-water mark for the Clownbuck.
