I just have a hard time believing they would give a company an unqualified opinion if they sincerely believed there was a high degree of probability that Enron had a going concern problem. It would be suicidal.

Andersen was advising Enron how to set up off shore companies to hide their losses. Then they also did the audits to prove the company's figures were right. Trusting Andersen now would be like letting the fox guard the hen house.
