must be true then... I'm confident the people at JP Morgan have much better values and behavior and tendencies than their classmates at Enron. In fact, anyone that thinks that anyone else besides Enron is lying about a lot of stuff is obviously wrong, we all know than any lies and fraud get caught immediately by the sharp minds in our media and government.

<<A powerful global growth rebound is at hand," said John Lipsky, J.P. Morgan's chief economist.>>

He needs to talk to Doug Cliggott, JPM's chief market strategist. He's nowhere as sanguine about the economy...<NG>

I guess someone doesn't expect JPM to participate in that recover because somebody is loading up with June PUTS.

2:07pm 01/17/02 JP Morgan sees sharp, early recovery By Tomi Kilgore
J.P. Morgan said it is now forecasting a global economic recovery that is "sharper and earlier" than previously expected. "A powerful global growth rebound is at hand," said John Lipsky, J.P. Morgan's chief economist.

I wonder if this could explain all that hopefulness, er... bullishness.
