Tim, as a Board member in several companies, my opinion is that she should have gone to the Board with her concerns no matter how low or high her position in the company.There is no "rank" involved when legal or accounting issues are on the table.

She sounds like a sharp manager who would be an asset to any company, just needs the courage to scream louder and to more people next time.
