I guess most everyone will have to put you on ignore then :-)
It's really getting boring trapsing thru SI and finding your whining.
you should've known what the possibilities were ahead of time.
tough lesson, but get over it (or as Jeffry said, do something about it--talk is cheap)

it wasn't fair, but that's how the game is played. the fact that IB even called Globex is astounding.
they did what they said they would, you entered the stop order (no one held a gun to your head I assume), IB pushed your order out when it was set to trigger.

The problem is with people like you, I think.

Those who would, even for a moment, think "how great the nq's were, how safe they were, how wonderful the stops were handled" obviously have their head buried in some orifice.

This is the market, my friend. It is not a fair or friendly place.

My opinion is that anyone who can blow out half their account on a 40pt. move hasn't learned those lessons. There's nothing to get to the bottom of. You over leveraged your position at a point where the market was loaded short, and at high risk of reversal in an explosive manner.

There's no IB issue here. So why not take your whining to a thread where folks are ignorant enough to have pity on you for doing something that might otherwise suggest something quite simple to you?
