Looking at the ENE chart and assuming that the president of ENE was actively involved in trying to inflate the perception of value of ENE, would you assume that this activity started pre-1996 (under Richard Kinder) or post-1996 (under Kenneth Lay)?

This goal of this post is to offset the innuendo elsewhere that there is any relevance to an ex-exec of Enron throwing a fund raiser for a politician.

If the politicians acted on those requests in a questionable way, certainly they would deserve even more scrutiny. But again, there isn't any indication that any politicians did anything wrong (either dem or rep).

IMO the bigger issue is what was not done. Enron bought the republicans and the democrats. How many turned a blind eye and gave Enron a carte blanche?
