"Actually, it is the resurrection that is central to Christian faith."

Actually, the resurrection and the ascension are kind of related...

The Afterlife....

>>Actually, it is the resurrection that is central to Christian faith. St. Paul clearly states the argument in 1 Corinthians 15:13-15 "But if there is no resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain." >>

I don't think there's really much worth arguing over concerning the existence of life after death.

The evidence over the years from individuals who have died and come back to life is pretty overwhealming. Even the hardest, meanest cynic should have a hard time trying to refute this beyond ANY reasonsble doubt.

Mankind is transcending these old, dead arguments. The real fun is just beginning. What "state" we leave this world when we pass is a much more interesting topic worth discussing on this thread. Whether we take responsibility for this state or not would be another interesting aspect to discuss on this thread.

The Darth Vadar - Flash Gordon - flame throwing and Black Hole seeding activity is really getting pretty old!!
