Dynegy Chairman and Chief Executive Chuck Watson said
today that the demise of Enron should not be seen as an
indictment of the energy trading business.

In a speech before The Houston Forum, Watson blamed
Enron's problems to the inability of its balance sheet to support
the debts and cash needed to build many non-energy
businesses that it move into.

"It had nothing to do with energy," he told a full ballroom in the
Houston Club.
that's a classic....
IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ENERGY!
