<Cognitive dissonance sets in when too many conflicting bits of data make our internal models unsustainable and we lose our frames of reference to reality. [Cognitive dissonance has been misused in this stream]. We can ignore a certain amount of 'wrong' data. But at some stage, reality has a habit of intruding on our warped ideas. There's nothing like an inanimate, but falling, rock to knock some sense into our heads.> I really like that part... someone could do some serious research into how many bits start to overload the system and perhaps damage 'good data' or some such thing. Wonder how many hours of CNBS it takes to counteract good data in the same format??? LOL DAK
