John Finally!!! a couple of things we agree on (and I goofed by saying a long period of darkness) -- "Death is the ABSENCE OF TIME" -- In fact, I do believe that -- but a little differently than you do. I believe I'll be in the presence of the Lord and time will be different than it is "here" -- somehow "absent". But I'll be smiling -- -- "as experienced by those DEARLY departed" -- Careful, unless you mispoke, you're exhibiting a positive feeling. -- "my almost dearly departed" -- I'll bet I am closer than you are, but for me it's not a BAD future, but a GREAT one - especially after I'm joined by gramma, several grandkids, and a few friends.
