Whatever Hank.

History will be the judge. You can "laugh out loud" all you like.

AE asked the board for some thoughts, then you asked for my opinion, so I offered them. What's with all the exclamation points and adversarial b/s anyway?

I couldn't care less how you decide to trade the stock, and sorry, but I rarely share my positions in any stock in public anymore...What's the point? It's impossible to verify, and it's not about ego for me anyway, I'm here to share my opinion and learn.

What do you have to offer besides the fact that the dow has a gap from 20 years ago? I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on why you think Echelon the company, and ELON the stock price, will avoid pressure from what I feel will be a continued and deepening recession.

Do you have any price targets for ELON and if so, could you explain why you have them... or do you have any thoughts on the direction and condition of the domestic and foreign economic situation as they relate to ELON?

Hank, thanks for the invite to the ELON thread. I have been following it, but not posting in many months. As you know, my background is from the electric power industry, real power companies not the ENRON type. I have followed ELON and its products with great interest and can see many useful applications. I trade more often from the short side than long and was shorting ELON when it was over priced during the bubble. But ELON is not an Internet bubble stock, it is a real company with real products, strong technology, and a foothold in a new industry.

Great to see that ELON has turned the corner with a profit this quarter. Very few companies can claim improving results for the previous quarter and those that do will be rewarded. Given the economic turnaround and increasing energy prices, ELON may be positioned for a strong future.

As for the recession, that is yesterday's news. The recovery is already underway. I turned bullish after 9/11 and believe that 9/21 was the market bottom.
