'conflict' simply means that before the new firm takes the case they perform diligence at their firm to see if any relationships between their employees and the counter-plaintiffs exist. if there is no 'conflict' they proceed. since there are over 300 employees at the new firm, it takes time, i assume. as for task force, the p.i.'s, as part of their duties, submit their findings to the fbi for criminal charges. they work with certain lawyers, etc. on a regular basis. this is not unusual. though we both are very weak in the area of law, i suggest to you not to advertise that fact. ragingbull.lycos.com
