Very true about having to suck up to too many parties.
Do enjoy all the GE interviews, always, but the treatment of that Duke Energy CEO was so blatantly shabby, I almost fell out of my chair. He should tell his secretary to hang up on CNBC next time they call.

Grace,

re: <<Truth is ALL the major media outlets are owned by big corporations now and while everyone talks about editorial freedom, it doesn't exist.>>

In the AM, try switching over to MSNBC to catch Imus In The Morning sometime (3AM to 6AM out here on the left coast, so must be 6-9AM EST) for contrary dialog to the above statement. He had Insana on the phone earlier this week and was berating him and his buddies for not hardballing Lay and Enron when they were on. When Insana said they just didn't know, Imus hacked him by saying, "IT'S YOUR JOB TO KNOW!!!"

When ever he has Andrea Mitchell on the phone he always asks her to put "Crazy Al" on the line <g>. And he does a pretty good job of berating the station he's on (MSNBC). Of course he can say pretty much what he wants because he's the highest rated show they have.

Pretty good yuks in the AM and just switch over during the commercials to catch the futures -g-
