twfowler,

Too easy to read the Democrat bias in that article.

The present US and Saudi administration says everything is great.

A Democrat thinks we shouldn't be there. Carl Levin and Co.

So the media digs up some Saudi citizens that agree with Levin and Co. to sway public opinion against the current Republican agreement.

Whoop-dee-do.

Bunch of maroons.

Steve

Saudis May Seek U.S. Exit

Military Presence Seen as Political Liability in Arab World
Saudi Arabia's rulers are increasingly uncomfortable with the U.S. military presence in their country and may soon ask that it end, according to several Saudi sources. Such a decision would deprive the United States of regular use of the Prince Sultan Air Base, from which American power has been projected into the gulf region and beyond for more than a decade.

Tim, I suspected it was coming to that........I bet they are not happy with the US flexing its military might coupled with the criticism they are getting in the American press.

We need to wean ourselves off oil as quickly as possible and be prepared to distance ourselves from the Saudis. Unfortunately, the battle lines are being drawn.
