Absolutely. AS a private company only you and your employees have a vested interest. As a public company all investors and potential investors have an interest and hence the publicity by media which after all depends on the public for its profits.

Thats also the reason why INVN was selling for a couple of bucks with little volume and no media exposure and then suddenly up around 40 with daily media exposure.
