gao, if you think McNealy knows why his company was hurt then you should invest in sunw. I think that assertion is silly. sunw is more a victim linux than msft. Linux is a much friendlier and faster unix than slowlaris. Linux can create a server with a 486. I did it 6 years ago and out performed the sun at that time. Sun is the only unix company the is really distant from linux. Sun has a run supplying turnkey net servers as a name. But they sold a lot to dot.coms that sank and ended with billions of inventory. That's what hurt sunw, not fighting msft. tom watson tosiwmee
