It seems to me that producing something like silk or any other commercially viable product represents a business strategy that would allow the company to produce and market a product WITHOUT the time and uncertaintity of govt. regulators.
If the people running the goats aren't smart enough to think up possible products, maybe some of you on this board might want to make a few suggestions.. I have to admit that I have always considered the goats to be a low cost source of medicine... the concept of producing silk is VERY interesting. what else is possible?? The time line to market of a drug is what is killing us now.. The thought of just creating a product without asking permission is really exciting..
