I think this is all that needs to be said for my argument.

Now, to be fair, the Athlon does gain when the front side bus is increased. But I have two questions. First, will AMD be increasing the front side bus bandwidth before Hammer? And second, doesn't this suggest that the Pentium 4 could get a nice increase in performance, since Intel *is* increasing the front side bus bandwidth?
